All about Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers is American football team based in pittsburgh Pennsylvania. These are the sixth team in the Northern Division of the American Football League. The Pittsburgh Steelers wear uniforms of black and gold. The name of the team came from from the steel-producing factories in Pittsburgh.
The team is used to play at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh,The team has played in six super Bowls and won Conference Championship Games. Pittsburgh is the only in NFL who had woned Super Bowl Victory in 2006. The Pittsburgh Pirates football team was founded in 1933 by Art Rooney named the team after Pittsburgh's National League baseball team, and the two franchises shared Pittsburgh's Forbes Field.
Pittsburgh NFL team started playing on september 20 1933, with loss of 23-2 to the New York Giants. In 1941 the team was renamed as steelers and had maintained good records for next three decades. In 1943 the team came out with Philadelphia eagle and formed "phil-pit eagles". In 1974 Pittsburgh Steeler team has selected members from Hall of Famers and won 4 Super Bowls. In 2006 The team participated in National Foot ball Conference and became the third team to win fiver Super Bowls. The 2006 Steelers were the first team to reach and win the Super Bowl.
Pittsburgh won the Super Bowls that followed in 1989 holding the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys to a combined 23 points in the two games. According to survey it is found that the Pittsburgh team is ranked fourth in NFL history with 209 career victories.
Uniform and Logos :
In early days The steelers have used black and gold color dress after merging with eagles the team's colors were green and white.The logo of the steelers was introduced in 1962 made up of U.S.steel.In 1977 steelers logo patch is added to the left sid of the jersey.

Usually I wont show any interest to see football matches.Recently I have seen Pittsburgh Steelers match. I am fasinated by seeing their match. They played excellent. stadium is clean and good , the coach , captain are giving good suggestions to their team. I m biggest fan for steelers team. I enjoyed alot.
