All about Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are one of three teams in Carolina sports history whose name is derived from a feline animal. Its is an American Football team which is based in Charlottee, North Carolina is Carolina Panthers. They are currently members of the Southern Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Panthers, along with the Jacksonville Jaguars, joined the NFL as 1995 expansion teams.
In 1987, after it was decided that Charlotte would receive an expansion National Basketball Association franchise former Baltimore Colts player Jerry Richardson met with a group of backers to discuss the possibility of bringing an NFL expansion team to the Carolina region.
The Panthers played football, and George Seifert took over the team for the 1999 season. In his first year as head coach, he turned them into a wonderful team which achieved excellent results. A vast improvement was seen when compared to the record that of previous year.
Logo and uniforms:
Carolina Panthers logo consists of the head of a black snarling panther outlined in blue. The helmets are silver. The team normally wears silver pants with their black jerseys and white pants with white jerseys. Both the black and the white jerseys have blue stripes over the shoulders. The team introduced an alternate jersey in 2002 that is blue with black shoulder stripes.

Feline Theme:

Panthers had a great victory records along with the bad times. whatever, their will power was great. They were filled with lots energy which is making them to play and to have so much of fans.

Carolina Panthers is my favourite Football team.Recentley I have watched the match.They lost their game in first round with their team spirit they won the game.Their unform and logo are awesome.I like the team very much. |

Carolina Panthers is my favourite football team, i and my friends once went to see a match played by them, that too 1hour before. I was just surprised to see the crowd. They were all cheering their favourite teams. we also joined them by singing their battle song. finaly the players started playing and the match was an awesome experience. Carolina panthers have finaly won it and proved their capability. we enjoyed the match. |

I witnessed one of the match played by Carolina Panthers in the year 2005. Being one of the fan for this team. I persinally was very tensed about the result, because most of the good players were not in team. But they stood up and faced their opponents and finally won the match. Carolina Panthers are the real panthers in the ground. The way they play game is really awesome. I am one of the big fan of this team. I have witnessed some of the matches played by them, one will really get impressed by their team spirit and co-operation. They simply rock. |
